Genotyping of the Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) gene is crucial to guide treatment decisions regarding the use of EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors in non-small cell lung cancer.

Our group built a model-based nomogram to predict the probability that a patient’s lung cancer will harbor an EGFR activating mutation.

The nomogram was developed in a cohort of non-Asian patients with lung adenocarcinoma, and should only be applied to this population.
